all about the experience
Life is one big experience, right?
As a People Experience Specialist, expert advice and guidance is offered to industries looking to create exemplary experiences both externally for visitors, customers, and attendees, as well as internally for employees and volunteers.
With 10+ years experience in the travel & tourism industry, along with 6+ years’ experience in the HR sector, my career began within HR as a generalist coordinator with a focus on volunteers and training, before becoming more specialist and moving into Employee Experience and HR consultancy. During this time, I have gained experience in many aspects of HR including recruitment, policies, wellbeing, inclusion, engagement, reward & recognition, employee benefits, culture change, learning & development and internal communications.
Prior to my HR experience, I have worked in many customer/visitor services roles including the management of public museums, front-of-house visitor teams, retail, and also with both vulnerable children and young adults within the social care sector.

Why work with me?
From a young age, I’ve always known I’ve wanted to make a difference to society. My personal values are honesty, integrity, and justice, ensuring that all people within society are treated fairly and equitably. Everybody deserves the same opportunities in life, as challenging as that may be depending on individual and personal circumstances.
From teaching to social work, I’ve explored many options throughout my life of how and where I can make a difference and have the most impact. I never even knew about HR before applying for my first HR role, and knowing I could support organisations and employees to advocate for a more fair and just society, I knew I had found my sweet spot.
During all of this, I’ve gone through my own personal journey of coming out as Bisexual, periods of fluctuating mental health due to both personal and societal circumstances, as well as a learning journey of further understanding of all protected characteristics under the Equality Act 2010. Born and raised in Liverpool, UK, and having never lived anywhere else, I absolutely love meeting people from different backgrounds from all over the world, as this is what makes life and the world the beautiful place it is. I am a huge empath, as well as an advocate for wellbeing, mindfulness, spirituality, self-help literature and a love for exploring the world and its many amazing places, people, and cultures.
